It's Monday morning and I'm smiling. So what's the secret? Years
ago, someone once told me that 'You can't always do what you like, but you can
like what you do.' Whilst on the surface this may seem a bit trite I took it to
heart and deliberately changed my mind about work and happiness.Mood is infectious and if I act miserably then others around me
may well get grumpy too. I thus work to break the vicious spiral that Monday
easily becomes with a cheeriness that occasionally upsets the determinedly
morose but which generally raises a smile or three. I'll also look for a bit of
daily humour, whether it's weird news, a silly joke or a wry observation, and
then pass it around. Such amusement is easy to find these days and the web is
stuffed with rib-crackers.Happiness is good for you. People who are happier suffer less
stress and less associated illness. Interestingly, if you force a smile it may
start as a grimace but your brain will eventually give up and conclude that it
will just have to be happy after all.So go on, join the happy club!

Beleive in Action
We promise so many things, but hardly translate them in to action . The ratio between our thoughts/promises and action is quite huge. And we don’t care. Recently, I was travelling from Bhopal to New Delhi by night train alone. I got the side upper berth . There were 2 ladies might be sisters age about 60’s or 70’s they got their berth in a row upper & middle . Both of them were old age and quite bulky body the upper birth was inconvenient for them. They tried hard for a change on the other side of lower berth , there was a gentleman , a senior citizen , with gray hair and beard , so, they could not dare to ask him for any favour. On the adjacent lower birth they found a a healthy middle aged person in a police uniform. One of the lady requested him politely for exchange of berth. But all in vain. He kept silent with no emotion on his face. At last one lady was struggling hard to occupy her upper berth when suddenly they heard a voice “Mrs. I can not see you on the upper berth. Please take my Berth I am going to occupy the upper one”. That was the old gentleman , glowing with the gesture of sacrifice. I saw the stout gentleman in khaki sitting pretty on lower berth. What a contrast of human nature and behavior. They thanked a lot to the gentleman who offered his lower berth to them. They all enjoyed the night journey. Next morning we all got up and finished our morning routine . Slowly , train was moving towards New Delhi Station I noticed the gentleman on the lower berth in khaki was loudly chanting “Hanuman Chaalisa” verses in the praise of Lord Hanuman. Perhaps he forgot to realize that Lord Hanuman was had very high respect and regards forSitaji the symbol of Indian womanhood. No need to be in dilemma whom to call the real devotee of Hanumanji the person who chanted the Hanuman Chalisavery loudly or the person without any such chanting but having great honour and respect for a lady through his activities .

Hostel @ part of Life ..........!!!
Who says hostel life isnt fun? For most people college life is the most cherished part of their lifes, especially if you are in a hostel. The greatest thing about being in a hostel is that you can do whatever crazy thing your mind wants you to do and have your friends to support you! Its been a October till now since i joined my college and we are all now an integral part of our college. Its our lifestyle. The environment here is always lively and you’ll always find some activity going on, and this continues till not earlier than 2 in the morning. I was never a night bug before but things have changed ever since. You can always choose to hang out in others room, play cricket, go out to have a sip of cofee or a midnight snack( at Bikaner, Mother Dairy or juice counter we have three choices), play computer games on lan, download movies, chat online or just chill in your room listening to music or reading a novel…. OR you can….STUDY. Except the day before an exam studying on regular days is usually considered taboo. If your seen studying too much you’ll be taged as geek or nerd. Some people escape into the study room only to be assaulted later. Life in a hostel is always associated with many crazy moments. Its just need for fun and excitement that drives us all. Being in a hostel helps you to be yourself better and link your life with that of your friends. Its almost like a second home. Being in a hostel also means choosing the right group to hang out with. Its easy for one to fall into bad company and screw up his life. Once you have good friends its as good as saying your college life will be the most memorable part of your life.

India: Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow
India:
Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow
Devendra Gore
From
one of the poorest countries in the world with a highly regulated business regime,
we seem to be freeing ourselves from the shackles and become a forward looking,
growth oriented economy. Poverty is decreasing but at a speed that is far
insufficient. We need to bring depth to our reforms proceeds so that it seeps
to the poor man in term of education, jobs, as an increases in per capita
income etc.
Some of the things which we have make us great country a vibrant
democracy, flexibility, religious tolerance, youthful demography and a great
desire to succeed what we still lack is the combined vision on several fronts
including infrastructure, anti-corruption drive and competitive positioning. Be
it water, electricity roads, ports or airports we need several times
improvement over what we have. Corruption is absolutely undesirable but it is
everywhere in the world. What we need to follow is the Singapore model that has
“Zero Tolerance” for corruption so that it is no longer active and the country
gains some respect in global market. On the competitive positioning I
personally find that India is much more expensive in everything except labour
at the quality purity and we need to work hard to change this situation.
I remember the days
when telecom minister used to take pride in the fact that India had the lowest
density of phones because it was not possible to provide phones to cores of the
people and waiting list used to be years long. After privatizing India become
one of the fastest growing markets and it has created hundreds of thousands of
jobs, lots of wealth as well as
opportunities in the field of industries something holds good for electricity, water,
roads, airports as there is huge need for the same.
Anywhere in the world , Indian stands out as exceptional people with
their Intelligence and work ethics we just need to work on some of the things at
our end to make India one of the most competitive and powerful forces in the
world.
I believe that our increasing middle class population and its spending
power could be a boon to the country rather than a curse if the government truly
provides goods governance and improves some of the things that I just talked about.
